Dan is behind multiple developments on our local and national skyline. He founded 'Light Knights' a group raising standards in the Rights to Light & Daylight & Sunlight industry. He is the secretary of the Severnside P&T Society for Party Wall practitioners. He has published numerous articles, and regularly gives seminars on the subject of Neighbourly Matters.

With over 18 years’ experience as a Landscape Architect, Ed, an Associate Director in LUC’s Bristol Design team, brings expertise to a diverse range of projects, including grade I listed landscapes, universities, hospitals, schools, housing, film studios, and parks. Recently, Ed led the landscape design elements associated with the successful Bristol Zoo Gardens planning application. He has a passion for all things design, with a particular interest in plants and the creation of resilient landscapes.

Amanda has over thirty years’ experience in planning, design and the built environment. Amanda’s areas of expertise include mixed-use masterplanning for LPA and private clients, extending existing communities and creating new neighbourhoods; through strategic allocation, outline and reserve matters stages, producing design codes. Amanda is a qualified Building with Nature assessor which she imparts into her approach to placemaking and urban design. Previous projects have won Housing Design and RTPI Awards. Amanda has also managed estate regeneration project for Council and RSL clients, and resident and stakeholder engagement projects, including strategies for failing highstreets.

Piers Taylor is an architect and founder of the award winning practice 'Invisible Studio' whose work has been published widely and internationally. Their work includes large scale cultural regeneration projects such as East Quay, Watchet and research led projects for the Architectural Association and Westonbirt Arboretum. Taylor has held teaching posts at the Architectural Association and the University of Cambridge and is Professor of Architecture at UWE.

Sophie is a Landscape Architect and Head of Public Realm at LDA Design. She has twenty years’ experience in the design and delivery of liveable streets, squares and green spaces. Currently leading the £35m West End Project, a radical transformation of public realm in central London. Other projects include Newcastle City Centre, Southsea, Covent Garden, Great Ormond, and Carnaby Street. She sits on the NLA Transport and Infrastructure Expert Panel and High Streets Task Force.

She has worked in diverse roles including Sustainability Advisor at consultancy Arup and Chief Resilience Officer at Bristol City Council. Since July 2018 she has been a freelance Urban Futures Consultant and Research Director at Bristol Futures Global, where she leads on digital placemaking and 5G research.
