Raadiyah is a specialist education architect with a focus on schools in particular across the state and independent sector. With experience through all RIBA stages of work, Raadiyah has insight on the development of infrastructure within masterplans, a working knowledge of cradle-to-cradle embodied carbon initiatives from an interdisciplinary viewpoint and shares a passion for community based projects, integrated into inclusive environments.

Richard is a co-founder of Design Engine Architects and enjoys working in all sectors and at all scales: from masterplanning to interior design, with architecture at the centre. Before the creation of Design Engine in 2000, Richard was a director of Architecture PLB, senior architect with Rogers Stirk Harbour & Partners, and an associate of ORMS. He has been the recipient of numerous national and international design awards during 25 years of practice, and also received the Stephen Lawrence Prize for his own house in Winchester. Richard has a particular passion for teaching and has been a regular visiting critic or external examiner at the Bath, OBU, Brighton, UCL Bartlett, Portsmouth and Plymouth Schools. Previously a member of CABE, Richard has been involved with several Design Review Panels across the South of England and now focuses solely on Design West.
Tanya Ross

Tanya has been involved in leading some of the country's highest-profile projects: the Millennium Dome, the O2Arena, the London 2012 Stadium, the THFC stadium, so she knows a thing or two about delivering complex projects to immovable deadlines. More recently she has led the engineering design for the (sadly unbuilt) Bristol Arena and the Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus adjacent to Temple Meads Station in Bristol. As someone with mobility challenges, she also brings a practical understanding of inclusivity to all she does.
Peter Sandover

Peter has more than 30 years’ experience in sustainable architecture, masterplanning and regeneration. Over recent years he has focussed on community planning, neighbourhood plans and community engagement strategies primarily in the South West. He is a Design Council Expert Associate, a Neighbourhood Planning Champion and chair of the South Devon National Landscape Partnership. On all his projects he sets out to demystify the development and planning process and build local confidence and capacity.
Andrew Simpson

Andrew has extensive experience working in the education sector. His practice combines Architecture and Landscape design to create spaces for learners of all ages - from infants to adults. Working on all stages of design from urban planning and master planning, to technical design and delivery, he has developed related specialisms in heritage, SEND provision, and spaces for music. He is passionate about our investment in education as a driver for change in society.

Ben Stephenson

Ben is a place development consultant with a particular interest in inclusive economic development, food, culture, and community engagement. He is a High Streets Task Force Expert and as a senior fellow, was on the development team at the lead delivery body the Institute of Place Management. Ben is Chief Executive of the Angel Islington Business Improvement District and has an MSc in Place Management and Leadership. He has authored national guidance for public bodies conducting reviews and similar work for the Greater London Authority’s Commission for Diversity in the Public Realm.

Joy is an Architect and Associate Director at Alec French Architects. Throughout her Architectural career she has led many Residential/mixed-use projects covering all design stages from inception through to completion. Joy has extensive experience working with a diverse range of Clients on challenging sites with placemaking as the key focus. In recent years Joy’s experience has involved appraising numerous sites for development opportunities alongside reviewing schemes from a commercial and buildability standpoint. Joy is also an Associate lecturer at University West of England tutoring third year students, is a Mental Health First Aider and has provided mentoring to students and construction industry professionals.

Tom is an experienced and passionate architect, and a co-founder of Extended Studio, architects for communities. His work is about making great design accessible to everyone - from co-design and community engagement, to the development of places where people thrive together. Alongside his architectural background, Tom has also worked in public sector leadership positions as a client, giving him a valuable and unusual perspective on architecture, urban design and community projects.
