    Julia has expertise in a wide range of building types across several sectors, with experience in arts-related buildings, artist collaborations, education, master-planning and residential projects. She was a partner at FCBS from 1998-2009 and has been a director of Bath-based practice Kashdan-Brown Architects since 2011. Julia has also been a Teaching Fellow at the University of Bath since 2009. She currently tutors the final two years of BSc and the first year of MArch.

    Annabel is a qualified transport planner and urban designer with a background in architecture. She has over 15 years of practical experience in multidisciplinary consultant teams, specialising in the delivery of design-led projects in both the public and private sectors. She has been involved in the promotion of many mixed-use urban design and masterplanning projects, and has developed knowledge and understanding of design, planning application and design review processes. Annabel has a keen interest in improving the quality of streets and public spaces and has been involved in a range of projects developing innovative street and public realm designs.

    Mike is a partner at Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios and has designed a range of residential, sports, leisure and master planning projects, with a particular focus on the higher education sector, including working for the University of Bristol. Mike led the 2008 Stirling Prize winning team on Accordia, a substantial residential scheme in Cambridge widely regarded as setting a new benchmark for housing design in the UK. He has also designed residential schemes in London, Bath, Manchester and Bristol.

    Dr. Stefan Kruczkowski is an urban designer and co-author of Building for a Healthy Life - the government endorsed design tool for creating better residential developments. Stefan has extensive experience in improving the design quality of new towns, villages and a range of residential and commercial developments. Working for local planning authorities across England, Stefan is experienced in policy and brief writing, development management and post-completion quality auditing. Stefan also serves on the panel for Design:Midlands, supports Homes England with its land disposal programme and is a visiting lecturer at the University of Nottingham.

    Cora is a chartered architect with over 20 years’ international experience and currently a Divisional Director/Sector Lead for Higher Education at Stride Treglown, as well as a RIBA Client Adviser with a special focus on strategic advice, briefing and user experience. Cora is experienced in working with the public and private sector to deliver award-winning projects. Cora has demonstrated encouraging design excellence as thought-leader through co-chairing the Design Review Panel at Design West and the Design Commission for Wales (DCfW). She further supports this aim as Board Trustee for Design West, Commissioner for DCfW, Design Council Associate and a member of the University Design Forum.

    With 25 years professional practice Justine has considerable experience of masterplanning and landscape architecture in urban and rural environments at a wide range of scales. Justine is a Director at LDA Design and leads their Oxford studio where she provides strong design leadership on projects ranging from strategic development, regeneration, public space design, including streets and the public realm of new housing. Her expertise includes complex multi-disciplinary projects, coordination and design for visioning strategies and site promotion, design statements, planning applications and delivery.

    Claire is a highly creative Chartered Architect and Retrofit Coordinator/Designer with 15 years industry experience. She is currently an Associate at Askew Cavanna Architects. Her passion is working with existing buildings to create energy efficient, beautiful, inclusive places that bring social, environmental and economic value through design. She has worked on a number of award winning projects including the Soil Association HQ and Docklands Youth & Community Centre, both in Bristol. Claire is also a Board of Trustees for the Centre for Sustainable Energy, a charity supporting people and organisations to tackle the climate emergency and end cold homes.

    Eve leads the Bristol office of HTA Design an architectural practice with a focus on housing and has been with HTA since 2013. She has experience in urban design, masterplanning, architectural design, estate regeneration, community consultation and has worked in architectural practice for 18 years. Prior to joining HTA Eve worked for Farrells in Hong Kong working on mixed use projects across Asia, before that she worked for Powell Dobson Architects in the UK on a variety of residential, mixed-use and leisure projects. Eve has also volunteered for Architecture for Humanity whilst located in Cape Town, South Africa and for an architectural practice in Auckland, New Zealand. She has been involved in international development projects in developing countries working with non-profit organisations and aid agencies.

    Shabnam is an architect with robust expertise across architecture, sustainability, business case development and construction management. She set up her practice in 2015 after working with award winning firms on diverse projects, including the mixed-use Quadrant 3 in Piccadilly Circus for The Crown Estate, and the housing and public realm for Battersea Powerstation. Shabnam is passionate about her obligation as an architect to civic engagement and to improve the quality of our built environment. She has a special interest in designing for social inclusion and integration, encouraging urban rewilding and biodiversity, and designing dynamic and adaptable spaces that serve the community.
